What Is Business Credit?

Your business credit is the primary way companies evaluate whether to do business with you and on what terms. Business credit is credit obtained in the name of the business using the business EIN/TAX ID. This is separate from the business owner(s) personal credit or social security number.

Businesses have a larger borrowing window than an owner using their personal credit.

With an established and strong business credit profile the business will be able to qualify for credit and loans without using the owner personal credit (known as personal guarantee).
